The International Name for Maritime Modelling
Marine Modelling International is now one of the most respected magazines, covering all aspects of our exciting hobby for the past 30 years.
With a wide age range and skill set of readers, the editorial team tries to include all aspects of our hobby each month. We have regular contributors who keep the various specialities up to date with news and information including. This includes Waterlines for the 1/1200 and 1/1250 scale collector and builder, Plastic Kit Scene for builder of plastic and resin kits, Livewires for the Fast Electric enthusiast, Scale Scene with hints and tips for R/C scale modellers, Powerplug for I/C powered models and Vintage Chatter looking back on some of the early developments in our hobby.
We also have many expert contributors who describe their building of model craft from warships, cruise ships to tugs, pleasure boats and yachts. Our aim is to inspire readers to build model craft and share skills and experiences with fellow modellers. As many models are based on full size ships we try to include details of 1:1 scale craft each month to inspire scratch build modellers to build a replica either static or radio controlled vessel.
There is a monthly Diary Dates section for pending maritime events and Meeting Point which gives post event reports. Most months a Chandlery section lists new items of hardware and book reviews etc. For 4 months a year a FREE folded pull out plan is included of a model craft for all skill levels.
